Power question
Power question
I was just wanting to know that if you leave the saturn pluged in and you have the chip soldered to the power connector, will the chip always be pulling power or once the power button is pressed its turned off. I just dont want it going bad on me:) Im not real good when it come to electronics sorry.

The relay for the switch on most models (I say most, as there are tons of models of Saturns and I have only come across about 10... but this meets all ten I've seen)... anyways the models I've seen all traced the switch back to the power supply and turned it on.
This means that the pin the chip is connected only puts out power when the system is on.
If you want to check for 100% sure slap a voltage sensor to the pin when the unit is off and see if its got any power.
