Trials HD is awesome

Post by baphomet_irl »

seriously anyone who has a 360 should get it, if anyone remembers Kik Start II on the C= 64 or Excitebike, its pretty much the same type of gameplay with a lot more jumping. It is properly old school addictive, and as with any games he shares with me, I spend most of my time trying to get close to ZenLogikos' records lol

I have managed at least beat him in the climbing skill test one last week, although he's probably beaten me in it since :p

Yeah, this game is crazy fun - but damn, does it ever get hard quick. That one level where you have to balance on the wire-mesh ball, reverse to make the ball go forwards and then transition to another wire-mesh ball had me tearing my hair out.

I have Trials 2, which is insanely hard, but very rewarding once you get the knack of it. Great game. Quite a bit harder than excitebike though. It's more of a physics puzzle where you try to figure out how to ride 10 feet without crashing.

I'm interested in this but it looks like the kind of game that would make me pull my hair out after a while. N+ gave me my fill of that.... I never did beat that one.

I attempted playing the original trials, but after a few levels I gave up. I had more fun on Action Supercross for dos, and later Elastomania. I love making my own levels. One of the Austin Powers GBC games has a clone of those games too.

this game is awesome. the skill game where you throw the dude down the stairs is incredible. also the one where you fly through the rings of fire reminds me of nights...

does anyone have any good custom tracks? or know of any users with custom tracks? or anything else good for this game? i am really excited to see some dlc.

yeh the throwing one is ace - also the pinbally target one - yeh I knew the ring of fire one fetl familiar but I never clicked it properly eheh - it is quite Nights-ish :D

I havent checked out any custom tracks, I think it can only be 'friends' tracks or something.
Hey add my nick:

so I can have one more name on the ticker at the top to depress me :p

a fun thing is to go to the leaderboards, go to the 'overall/all' bit then press yellow button, shows replay of the world number 1 - check out that Inferno level - unbelievable stuff. Also to make it even more difficult, it seems like the ball skill tests go on forever/loop, or else the world number 1 hasnt even gotten to the end o_O
