Hmm I personally do not like 7, GASP!!!!!
I know shoot ME now..
Anyway for me I'd have to say my favorites (which means order of recommendation as well)
1&4
6
7
5
8
3
2
1 and 4 are easily my favorites, 6 is also really really good. 7 is meh but It goes up there too cause its pretty deep, and has the largest universe (theres the main game and what...like 4 spinoffs?) The reason 3 fails is cause it was just...unmemorable. 2 fails the most because of the stupid leveling system, However It could very well place higher up, it has a pretty decent story, the characters are sorta likable. 8 I didn't really like much cause of the whole, all you can do is attack, other then use gaurdian force aspects. and 5 I played through, but I never really enjoyed myself. Just did it to kill time.
Only one's i've never played are 9, 11(that one doesn't really count) and 12

Lol, this was my biggest complaint about 10. Actually, it's my only complaint. Such a shame, cause when you actually get to play the game it IS fun. But you end up watching it much more than playing it. A few people told me they liked it a lot, and even a few told me they liked the watching aspect of it.noiseredux wrote:Don't play any of the PS2 games. But I wouldn't go as far as to say don't play ANY of the PS2 titles. I wont play 11, but that's just me. I'm not into that sort of thing. But 12 I really do like. It's nothing like 10. There are long scenes, but they are only so often. Nothing like 10 at all.

It also depends on what sort of setting you prefer. If you're more for the medieval-ish type, give FF1 and 4 (2 US) a shot. If you're more for the futuristic, go for FF7 and 8. I haven't tried FF12, but so far FF10 isn't too bad. I haven't played 6 (yet), but will this weekend when I get paid and buy it
