PS3: Genji or another action game? Advice?

Post by okonomiyaki »

I'm about to purchase the PS3 slim and would like to pick up an action game with it.

I absolutely LOVED the original Genji: Dawn of the Samurai on PS2. Can anyone let me know if Genji: Days of the Blade is decent or if I should just bypass it altogether? It's only $12 bucks on Amazon new.

I'd like to keep my game collection trim - so if Heavenly Sword or something else is far superior I might just go for that.

But I really want to know if Genji is at least the same caliber as the PS2 game...b/c if it is, then I know I will be happy.

Any Advice?

I picked it up and haven't played yet. If its anything like that first game, I'll love it.

I just got a slim as well, I got Metal Gear and Genji. At gamestop Genij was only ten dollars. I'm hoping that was because no one likes good games.

I'll let you know in a few hours. If I can stop playing Metal Gear.

Not sure if it qualifies for action or not, but assassins creed is one of the best for the ps3, .IMO

Thanks!

Gonna grab MGS4, Genji and then download Wipeout HD and I'll be all set.
