New Members: Introduce Yourself!
Re: New Members: Introduce Yourself!
Hello, my name is Mark Scott, and I am fairly new here. I have been looking for a community such as this for awhile, and after lurking for awhile I think I am going to like it here. I am one of the larger collectors in Arkansas, which is like being the tallest midget, really. Anyway, greetings all!
If you don't have any soundtracks on vinyl you are doing yourself a disservice

Hey man, glad to have you here. I'm a noob on this board as well, but you'll meet some genuinely great people here.
Re: New Members: Introduce Yourself!
Yo everyone. I've been lurking around the site for a few weeks now and just now got around to posting on the forums. I love collecting older systems and games out of curiosity though my limited budget makes it hard for me to follow this hobby. I'm trying my damnedest to get a NeoGeo MVS right now, but luck never seems to be on my side. I'm also friends with Mod_Man_Extreme (he is the one who introduced me to the site). Anyway looking forward to good times here. Cheers.
Boy I tell you what, are those some god dang video games?

Re: New Members: Introduce Yourself!
Hi,
I used to play video games a lot when I was a kid up until around the time I entered high school. When I discovered emulators a few years ago, I found this site and its Hidden Gems series while searching for information about good SNES games that i hadn't played when I was kid. I started reading all the articles and unpacked all my old systems and hooked them up. I ended up buying a Saturn and getting into 2D fighting games again because of this site. I'm looking forward to reading about classic games on the main site and in the forum, especially on the more esoteric systems that I didn't even know existed when I was a kid. I also plan to join in on Together Retro when I get more time.

Back from the dead here, I joined around last year and left abruptly after a few weeks. I considered coming back a few times, but procrastination always got in the way.
I got interested in getting a Game Boy Micro and a GBA flash cart, so I searched to see which cart was the best which eventually led me to a topic here. Few days later, I came back. : D

Hi all!
Hey everyone,
I've been lurking around this site for a while and have had it in my RSS feeds for even longer. Anyway, I just finally decided it was time to join up (though I have this strange sensation like I already have). . . .
I'm a huge fan of Nintendo and have recently gained great appreciation for Sega. There are a handful of games that Sony and Microsoft put out that interest me, but generally speaking, I'm not into their systems.
My current collection of consoles includes: the Magnavox Odyssey, Atari 2600, Nintendo Entertainment System, Sega Genesis, Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Nintendo 64, Wii and I have been gifted with "permanently borrowing" a PSone. I also have a Game Boy Color and a DS Lite.
Anyway, most of these are sadly in storage on the other side of the world at the moment. Thankfully I have my Wii with me and the Virtual Console to keep me satisfied.
Nice to meet you all and I hope to see you on the boards,
manaman

Hi to Every one
I am 24 years old. My name is Jenifar. I live in old Mexico. I like mostly 16 bit games , RPGs, programming. I am working in a game developing industry so I spend more time reading and writing about games than actually playing.

I tend to read and collect more games then play them, especially with school and all. I found this sight while lookin for some awesome Saturn games and i dont remember if i bought one before or not after I found the sight. But it helped find some awesome games.
