Re: Game Boy Platformers
I agree with the Wario series being one of the best for the GB/GBC. I'd also pick up Castlevania: Belmont's Curse. While I haven't played Kid Dracula, I've only heard great things about it. If you want an action RPG, you should check out Gargoyle's Quest. It takes some getting used to, but a fun game nonetheless. Also, Ninja Gaiden Shadow should be on your list. As should either of the Contra titles. Battletoads in Ragnarok's World is a faithful port of the NES' Battletoads (I didn't care for the original Battletoads on the GB, which for some reason is a completely different game from the NES version).
Hope that helps!

Darkwing Duck.

The GBC version of Crystalis is terrible. Stick to the NES version.Anapan wrote:Crystalis

Truth. The only good thing about the GBC version is that you don't run into sword immunities, which got annoying in the later dungeons. I don't mind weaknesses and resistances, but when I have to start inventory dancing to even do damage now I'm pissed.GSZX1337 wrote:The GBC version of Crystalis is terrible.
