Rock Band 2 Guitar troubles

Post by Rebz »

Hey guys RB2 guitar seems to be on the fritz. The buttons are responsive, and the strum button is sometimes responsive but when put together to actually play the game it's completely a mess. Any ideas on how to fix it?

Contact EA and send it in for a replacement. This was a huge problem in the initial run of RB instruments, looks like you got a dud.

I've disected mine a bunch of times so, worst comes to worst, I can probably help walk you through it. As far as controllers go... it's friendly to hack by virtue of being large, but there are a ton of wires and connections in there.

I'd only suggest it as a last resort.
