Best Place to get the PS3 Slim?

Does anyone have any recommendations for the best place to get the ps3 slim, since all retailers will be having it for $299? Is any place having any deals on it or accessories, or perhaps who has the friendliest return policy if something should break? To those getting the slim, who is getting your money and why?

would it really matter what retailer you got it from?
if it broke in all likelihood wouldn't you send it to Sony for repair?
if i buy one i would get it from target or best buy
because it sounds much cooler than Walmart, Gamestop, or the City
who hires idiots, rude people and sounds homosexual.
also the target near my house never has a line around the customer service desk

Costco or Sams always has the best deals when it comes to bundles. Plus, with either store you can return any item no matter how messed up it maybe with no problems. Considering you have the reciept.

Seems like a good deal, I have a membership to BJs, I'll have to look if they have a similar policy. Considering amazon already sold out, a lower profile place like that may be what the doc ordered.

Wal-Mart or a big club chain like BJ's is your best bet for a really good/lax return policy.

I would buy from Amazon, because theres no tax which could be very expensive (like in Chicago where the tax is over 10%-and 10% of 300 bucks?! : P) and it has free shipping. So you only pay 300. Nothing more or less. That's what I did when I bought my PSP, I got it from Amazon because it was just 200 bucks instead of 200+ whatever tax would end up being. Sure you have to wait a tad bit longer, but hey you're not paying for gas or tax to drive to wherever and buy it.

"Especially if you live in Chicago with their 10.25% sales tax. That would be like 30 bucks!"

Fortunately I live in DE (no sales tax), but it appears amazon updated their site since this morning. Earlier they said it was sold out and it would be available in 1-2 months!

The estimates for when Amazon restocks tends to be pretty off. The fact that they list it will be in stock again is about the only useful information you can glean off it.

I don't know if they have the same plan for PS3's, but I recently bought my 360 Arcade at Best Buy and got a 2-year replacement plan for an extra $50. The policy states that if ANYTHING goes wrong with it in the next two years that I can bring it in to any Best Buy and exchange it for a brand new one.

If you bought a old style PS3 at Best Buy in the last 30 days, you get a 1 of 3 games free " Infamous, MLB The Show or Killzone 2 and a price match. The catch is you have to keep your old one instead of trading it in for a new one. Just thought I'd throw that out there.
