Yobo RAM expansion pack ruins two N64's

I've cleaned my most recent one with alcohol, an air can, breath, and God knows what else I've tried. I tried cleaning the carts with alcohol and q-tips. I've tried every cart in my collection, and Phantasy Star worked for a few minutes a couple months back, but now nothing works. I even had a store put in a new cart slot, and it doesn't work! I'm absolutely sick of my MS.

In that case it may be a fuse or other less common issue.

Also are you using the official AC Adaptor?

Yes, I'm using the official Sega 12v power adapter. I think I should make this into a new thread.

I say go for it, that way you can get your SMS fixed and it won't keep on giving you any trouble.

I'm glad I read this so I can avoid the Yobo expansion pak at all costs. I was thinking about getting Majora's Mask and Donkey Kong and Perfect Dark and they all need the expansion pak and I dont have one.

I generally like to get first party stuff, but sometimes its just a pain. Like with a/v cables. For some reason when I bought my Dreamcast from a friend it came with an RF adapter (o.O) so I had to buy a new A/V cable. I think the RF sucked even more than normal because it was 3rd party and there were all these lines on the screen. It was OK and I dealt with it, but once I found an A/V cable at this shop and tested it out the screen was soooo much clearer. It wasn't a first party cable but definatly an upgrade.
