Favorite Lan PC games?

The “Games you hate that everyone else loves” topic got me thinking about lan gaming again. And since the next lan party I am attending is in October, I thought what better way than to ask others and possibly increase my library alittle before then. So my question is what are yalls favorite Lan party PC games?

My two favorites will probably always be Team Fortress Classic and Unreal Tournament 2004. My third spot fluctuates but if the fan made Earth and Beyond server has a lan version it will take that spot indefinitely.

I know the turnout for this topic will be fairly low, but I thought it was worth a shot. Thanks to suggestions in the past I have added the Seven Kingdoms to my collection, and to be honest I would have never looked at it with out the recommendation of the7k.

And I know I have made a topic similar to this in the past, but searching did not bring it up.

I always loved playing Red Alert 1 & 2, great RTS fun for the whole family. Unfortunately, getting 1 to run in Vista is a total bitch and I don't have the patience for it right now, so me and my family usually just play 2.

Quake 3 Quake 3 Quake 3 Quake 3!!!!
This was a constant staple at LAN parties in high school - I've probably put more hours into this than any other game ever.

Armagetron is a lot of fun as well, as is Soldat.
Unreal Tournament 2k4 (assault mode especially)
Giants Citizen Kabuto
also Quake 3

Another couple fav's i found were Counter strike, and warcraft 3 were big as well.

I have to second the UT and Quake 3 for LAN parties. Very fun choices.

uh, I would say The Specialists but the bulk of my time there was online. Um... HL1 DM is surprisingly fun.

Desert Combat is also very good.

but if I had a game that I would love to play over a LAN, then it would be, The Specialists, no question

Quake 2 is amazing, especially if you run either ChaosDM or Threewave CTF.

You already said my number one, fast, so how about this? AVP: Gold. Oh yeah, aliens all the way. And don't forget the fun times in Call of Duty. Three hours of sniping in Pavlov, over and over and over again.

Quake 3 and UT2k4 unless its going to be 12+ people then Enemy Territory Wolfenstein for sure.

UT and Quake 3 are great for LAN party..

Maybe some Diablo II for when you get tired of FPS.
