Sorry buddy, you have a typo. You mean't to say that "Sure it's not very PLAYABLE" :)
Oi, kholdstare, knock it off. The point of these threads is that they're about opinions. So somebody likes or dislikes a game that you dislike or like, so what? If he enjoyed Sonic R, then he did. If some other guy doesn't get into Zelda games, then he doesn't. It's not your place to tell them what they can like or not like.

I thought that Zelda wasn't very fun (just not my cup of tea) and that Sonic R was enjoyable, albeit in small doses. Of course, Strider for the Genesis kicks ass.

Did that help with your faith in this forum?

I know this all too well. I just felt like being a dick.

Cool. Probably there are some references im the JRPG part but I didn't get them. Funny though,

And yes, I played Wolfestein to death when I was little.

I agree with Crux. I stopped trusting game critics when GTA for GBA came out, and critics complained you couldnt save anywhere. You could save anywhere where you could press the start button. Then the IGN video killzone 1 review where the footage of the game directly conflicted with their complaints (ie: it showed AI ducking out of your way to give you a better shot as they claimed the game had bad AI. it showed the player shooting down a helicopter as they claimed it was hard to aim)

I look forward to your thoughts on it. In any case, you can't go wrong for 2$.

I agree with this. I also thought Sonic R was a ton of fun as well.
I can agree that Sonic 3D blast was decent, but to say that Sonic R was a "ton of fun" that's where I draw the line. You must have never played it, seriously. First someone says that Strider for the genesis and Zelda sucks, then someone else says that Sonic R "was a ton of fun".....I've lost all faith in this forum.
Just to be real, I thought that Sonic R was a pretty fun game. Its problem was its timing (people weren't gonna shell out the money for a Saturn for a damn racing game, they wanted a real Sonic game, goddammit) and the way it controls on a Model 2 Saturn controller. Try it with a 3D controller; it works nicely. It could've used some tweaking, but it's still a very enjoyable title with some of those graphics which only Sega could get out of the Saturn. When I first had a Saturn back in 1997/1998, Sonic R got good play-time amongst gems like NiGHTS into Dreams..., Burning Rangers, Sega Rally, Fighters Megamix, Virtual ON, Dark Savior, Street Fighter Alpha 2, Three Dirty Dwarves, Tomb Raider, Daytona USA: CCE, and Die Hard Arcade. I'd rate it as such:

Graphics - 9/10
Sound - 6.5/10
Control - 5 (M2) 7 (3D)/10
Gameplay - 7/10
Replay - 5.5/10

Overall - 7/10

As a side note, I don't enjoy playing Strider. It, like Altered Beast, is a title with gameplay that's simply been lost to time. And while I don't think Zelda sucks, I find the titles overrated. My favorite title in the series is Wind Waker, which is probably the least-liked Nintendo-produced Zelda title.

I really liked Graffiti Kingdom, it got a 71 on Metacritic, which really isn't that bad of a score. 7/10 is good. Very creative and fun game. I like editing the already made characters and giving them swords and guns. :P

I found a copy that looked brand new for 4.99 at Eb a while ago. I was ecstatic, I had a hell of a lot of fun just creating things to fight with in Magic Pengel. I hope I can make more complicated creatures in Graffiti Kingdom.

I remember this old thread about Graffiti Kingdom on Lavalit.

Obviously a lot of room for creativity in this game. I gotta go to another of the GameStops to see if they have any complete copies. I went to one today to look for it, but it was apparently being held by another employee. Son of a bitch.
