Thanks so much for the extremely kind offer miked, I really appreciate it. The people on this board are so kind and helpful, this is really a great place.

However I took the RAM expander back to the store I purchased it at yesterday and they tested it on one of their N64's. It didn't boot but when they took it out and replaced the original jumper pack it did boot. They tried it a second time with the Yobo expansion pack and the console was fried. They then got another N64 and opened a new Yobo and it worked fine. They then opened a second new Yobo (third one if you count the one I bought yesterday) and it fried the console first try. After that they pulled all the Yobo's off the shelf and gave me two N64's to replace the broken ones. They also refunded my money for the Yobo RAM expansion pack. They are really great people running the store and that place is like going to heaven for my son. I obviously don't need to worry about replacing a N64 console now but I am back to my original dilemma. We have already purchased a copy of Majora's Mask for my son's birthday (1 week from today) but need an expansion pack for him to be able to play it. Does anyone have one they are willing to sell or know of a place with original Nintendo expansion packs for sale?
You might also check Amazon.

Also, holy shit, best video game store ever. Though it makes me a little sad that we now have 4 N64's that have bitten the dust.
Don't worry any retro gaming store worth their salt will be able to it.

It's my personal policy that cart based systems never break unless physically destroyed or burned to a crisp by fire and I'm sticking to it.

Well, lucky you. I've gone through 4 Master Systems, all broken. In fact, I've never seen a working Master System, ever.

90% of the time it's dirty cart slot contacts....

I've fixed tons of 'broken' cart systems and have always found that the only thing 'broken' is that either the games or the cart slot's contacts are both just dirty.

And that's why you should always buy first party.

I've cleaned my most recent one with alcohol, an air can, breath, and God knows what else I've tried. I tried cleaning the carts with alcohol and q-tips. I've tried every cart in my collection, and Phantasy Star worked for a few minutes a couple months back, but now nothing works. I even had a store put in a new cart slot, and it doesn't work! I'm absolutely sick of my MS.

In that case it may be a fuse or other less common issue.

Also are you using the official AC Adaptor?

EDIT: Fixed quotes.

EDIT2: Fixed quotes again...

Yes, I'm using the official Sega 12v power adapter. I think I should make this into a new thread.
