Hey everyone!
I'm 17, and I've been a gamer pretty much all my life; I have a Genesis, N64, Gamecube, Dreamcast, GBA, DS and as of this past February, a Saturn. I enjoy just about any type of game, my favorite genres are Fighters, FPS's and Platformers, and I do enjoy a good shmup now and again. Some of my favorite games are: Sonic the Hedgehog; Quake 3 Arena; Worms Armageddon; SSB Melee; Mortal Kombat II; Doom, and Crazy Taxi.

Hey, i'm new here. I own an Xbox, PS2, PS1 and just ordered a Dreamcast (i'm planning on buying quite a few older consoles as well). I like old-school games a lot and i'm also a big RPG fan.

jimmywicker, I'm going to be optimistic about your podcast. I've seen a few VG ones get it right and it sounds like you have a plan. Let us know when it's out and available for use to peruse.

Hi all, 23 here from the bay area, Cali -- just graduated and landed my first job. Heard about NiGHTS coming back for the Wii and decided to dust off the ol' Saturn. Looking to start a collection of sorts and remembered this site, but it looks like I just missed out on the modchips =/

I guess I should post here, even though Ive already posted else where...

So Im a good ole boy from the south, Georgia to be specific. Formally schooled in Alabama in Nutrition and Food Science with a distinction in Hospitality Management in the fields of Hotels and Restaurants, yet I work for Comcast. I started gaming on the 7800 with Choplifter but was really hooked with Mario 1. I have been gaming for 20ish years, yet I am a grognard for 15 years strong. I am currently enthralled with bullethell shooters, I am tempted to start up a gang of Atlanta or Eastcoast shumpers - just because it sounds cool.

My gaming recently has been mostly arcade games, I am on a journey through mame from 88 games to Zzyzzyxx - every game highscore or story completition, Im in the Cs on playing, As on writing them up:

I do plan on picking up atleast one cab at the next auction I go to, it helps that it is the week before my birthday. I also buildup grandiose schemes for the conventions I work for/go to. Namely Momocon on the campus of Georgia Tech every March (as seen on Racketboy’s entry sometime ago about Pacman Vs), but Dragoncon has been interested in my work recently. Other hobbies include boardgames (hence the grognard statement), reading, and I like to claim writing.

My cellphone ring is the Japanese Chu Chu Rocket commercial, does that count for anything?

It's nice to see you off to a good start here in the forums :)

One of these days I need to build a good retro gaming ringtone library :)
