Will there ever be a Mortal Kombat Anthology?

What is there? 8 games? more? will we ever see one? What about some other classic franchises? Mega Man? FF? I wonder if any of the companies have anything planned considering how SNK sold well with their attempts.

I've heard bad things about the ports of MMX 1-3 on those compliations.

Mortal Kombat did have Armageddon, that while not a compliation did have every fighter in it.

On the first Anthology there are some... mistakes. But it doesnt stop me from playing them regularly.

IT depends on how you look at it...there are several MK fighters....but then there are 1 or 2 that kinda branch of...like the sub zero game and then MK:SM was more story based. I think I would love to see one made of all the 2d games....1,2,3,U,T.

I think we would be more likly to see a NEW mortal kombat all together before we see a nicely put together anthology.

It's up to the new owners of the MK intellectual properties, Warner Bros Games, whether a comprehensive compilation is released sometime in the future.

I've heard that MM1 has audio problems. What other mistakes are there on the anthologies? I'm thinking about getting them myself, but I'd like to know some of the changes.

Honestly I only like the old ones....once MK was released with a teen rating I knew it wasnt going to be the same game I remember. I did play the hell out of it...and though it wasnt a horrible game...it was nothing like playing any of the classics.
