Link To The Past or Super Metroid. Both of those games are unbelievably good. You owe it to yourself as a retro gamer to play those games.

While I want to just say Link to the Past, if you have someone else to play coop with, go Secret of Mana. Granted FFIII/VI has coop, but its not nearly as much fun.

Doesn't Secret of Mana have up 4 player simultaneous co-op if you use the SNES multitap?

i never knew final fantasy 3 had co op

id say super metroid, it shouldn't take more than 6 or 7 hours if its your first play through

after super metroid play zelda

Yeah, but Final Fantasy 6 co-op's a little odd. Basically second player controls the second and fourth characters in the party during battle sequences.

i would say Seiken Densetsu 3 (secret of mana 3) but to play you need emulate it and there is a translated version. but seeing as you are probably not playing on an emulator, then i say zelda. I'm playing it also and it's a great game (but hard after the first 3 or so dungeons.)

... am I the only one who doesn't like LTTP? I've beaten it and was just meh. It was alright,but I wasn't crazy about it.

Secret of mana, wayyyyyy more fun IMO. One of my favorite games ever, behind that Super metroid, Then FF III (VI) then LTTP, and finally secret of evermore, way different experience, nowhere near as enjoyable as SoM

LTTP is what it is its a zelda game, if u love the zelda games you will love it. i personaly would pick up super metroid of your list first it will be the shortest of your list at 3-5 hours of actual game time on your first play though 2-3 on your second (you have to do it got to get samus out of her suit) and then move on to mana or zelda

No old school game consumed me as much as super metroid...it was surprisingly intense!
