Should I sell my wii

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I see the Wii like this:

In the short term yes go ahead and sell it, but in the long run you're better off holding onto it and grabbing all the best games for it as they come out.
My Consoles:
Genesis - Nomad - SegaCD - GameGear - Sega Saturn - Dreamcast - NES - SNES - N64 - Gamecube - Wii - Playstation - PSone & LCD - PS2 - PS3 - Xbox - 3DS

already good games out are:
Madworld
No More Heroes
The Conduit
House of the Dead: Overkill
Night: Journy into Dreams
Zack & Wiki
Guilty Gear
Okami

Comming out:
SIlent Hill: Shattered Memories
No More Heroes 2
Muramasa: The Demon Blade
Red Steel 2
Metroid Other: M
The Grinder
Gladiator A.D
Metorid Prime Trilogy

and more i cant think of right now
Knew it wouldn't be long before the lists started appearing...

If the guy is anything like me, he's well aware of the games coming to the console and the games already out. If the guy is anything like me, little to none of those games appeal to him.

And this might be a little nit-picky, but you list Okami and Guilty Gear (experiences that are better suited to the PS2) and neglect to mention Fire Emblem and Metroid Prime 3? For shame... (A lot of the rest of the games are your list are pretty mediocre in my eyes, but that's just a matter of taste - Fire Emblem and Metroid Prime 3 being the best games on the Wii is a scientific fact.)

Anyway, if the thing is doing nothing for you, I see no reason for you to keep it - especially if you have friends that are making tempting offers. Take the money, buy something you want/need, and then just wait until demand for the thing dies and buy it some time down the road at a flea market or something. I don't really see the point of owning every console just for the sake of owning every console.

Little King's Story and Nyxquest are pretty good games...good enough to prevent me from selling my Wii for now.

I have looked into soft modding but the thing has been updated to the newest firmware. So as far as I know the soft mod doesn't work then..... Or is there something I'm missing with the zelda exploit? As for the games coming out the only one that has my eye is the new capcom fighter and personally I don't think there is one solid controller option to play it. Maybe something will show up. Right now it's my punch out machine lol I appreciate all the feedback.

Nobody's mentioned Sin and Punishment 2. That game will be awesome. It's already automatically awesome because it's made by Treasure.

You do know that HORI made an arcade stick for the Wii and released it domestically here in the states right?

TvC has issue mapping to the Zr key, or maybe I just cant read the menus as well as I thought I could... So the gameplay can be kinda awkward. However the Hori joystick is excellent for Guilty Gear Accent Core Plus and all VC fighting games. I could go into some depth on this since I have been researching the damn thing again, but Ill stop here.

If you are thinking about it enough to ask others opinions, do it. You have already cast the shadow of doubt in your mind.

i kinda still wish i had mine, if that tells you anything. i would keep it. there's bound to be some reason you'll want/need it in the future and you'll be pissed if you don't have it.
