Dreamcast Gameshark Codes?

Post by Barry the Nomad »

I'm looking for a source for Dreamcast Gameshark codes. I'm looking for the normal stuff as well as the crazy shit (like character model swaps and reverse gravity).

I'm ESPECIALLY looking for an all emblems code for Sonic Adventure 2. It's been a good 8 years since I've played Green Hill Zone. 8)

Edit: I should also ask, is Action Replay the same as Gameshark?

I second this. It is a real bugger to find old dreamcast gameshark codes.

Cheat Code Central has a couple Dreamcast GS codes, but unfortunately, none for Sonic Adventure 2. They have a ton of codes for some games, such as Grandia 2.

I use http://www.codetwink.com/ for GS/AR codes. You have to register, but they have tons of stuff.

Thanks! I never considered getting one because there seemed to be a severe lack of codes. These should do nicely.

Personally I think Codebreaker is loads better.

Here's a few I made for SA2 actually, for use with Codebreaker. There are no codes on Gameshark that I know of besides infinite rings/lives and high scores. I can make an emblem code for you if you want one, just tell me.

The "Character" hold "button" codes are for use during loading screens. So during say the city escape loading screen hold B to play as Shadow.

And the debug code let's you fly around the level and go through walls. Use the analog stick to move left/right/forward/backward, and hold X and you can move up and down. Press B to go to your last checkpoint, and press A to turn off debug.

Godmode just as the name implies makes nothing able hurt you.

Code: Select all

Debug On D-Pad up
0D1974A8
0000FFEF
01DE6DA0
0000003A

Sonic-Hold A
0D1974A8
0000FFFB
0124EE6C
00000000

Shadow-Hold B
0D1974A8
0000FFFD
0124EE6C
00000001

Knuckes-Hold X
0D1974A8
0000FBFF
0124EE6C
00000004

Rouge-Hold Y
0D1974A8
0000FDFF
0124EE6C
00000005

Tails-Hold Ltrig
0D1974A8
FE000000
0124EE6C
00000006

Eggman-Hold Rtrig
0D1974A8
FD000000
0124EE6C
00000007

Godmode
01DE6DA6
00000001

Sweet codes! I've saved them in a word doc. :)
If it's possible to make a all emblems code for SA2 (Dreamcast) Gameshark, it'd be much appreciated!

I only have experience with codebreaker. Most codes are not possible to make in anything else. Gameshark is very basic compared to it, with not as many functions.

Also, I forgot you give you the enable code.

Enable Code:
0F0C0D76
00000008

If you don't have codebreaker, and have a spare CD-r I highly suggest downloading it.(or buying it if you have the extra money). It's a 1mb file, and very useful.
