Does Tekken 5 include Tekken 1, 2, & 3?

I heard somewhere that you can play arcade ports of the first three Tekken games on the PS2 Tekken 5 disc. Is that true? I don't have any Tekken games and was debating which one to get. I'll get 5 if that is the case.

Sure does. They are direct arcade ports, so you don't get the awesome force mode from 3, but 5 has enough stuff to keep you busy.

Yes, but they don't save. You would have to unlock them every time you decide to play 2, 3 etc. On another note, I never thought of this and that sucks.

Once again, you must buy retro if you want the best version i suppose.

Sweet! It looks like Tekken 5 will be my first Tekken game (plus 1, 2, & 3 ).

Didn't know you could unlock characters in 1-3, even if it doesn't save. That was my biggest gripe about Tekken 3 within 5. 3 has a lot of great unlockable characters I immediately miss.

I like how they put in arcade versions of Tekken 1-3, but like the extra modes that's on the PS version.

I'm fairly certain that you have access to the arcade options by pushing some combination of buttons. And unlocking the characters is one of them.

I wrote off Tekken after Tag, I might have to buy 5 now. I played 4 and did not really love it. I did like the boxer, but I didn't feel it was as good as the previous one.

If you can't play Tekken Force, you can't unlock Dr. Boskonovitch, right? Or Gon, for that matter, since you don't have Tekken Ball?
