Hard to imagine anything could beat Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection. To my knowledge, nothing on any console past or present is a worthy contender...

Erm... The Orange Box? I dont think that counts though. I'd imagine there would be some kind of Namco Muesem type game on the 360, but I wouldn't swear to it... *looks for one*

Found it.

There's always the backwards compatibility of the Xbox 1 discs. There was 2 Megaman collections, and a street fighter collection - The Megaman one was just kinda weirdly emulated, so aside from the remixed music and roll annoying you with stupid tips it wasn't that great. Still it's got a large amount of classic Megaman goodness on one DVD. The other 2 I don't really know much about.

The Megaman Anniversary Collection is great played on Xbox 360. The tip feature can be turned off under options, and the emulation on MegaMan 1-6 is perfect, and is the sharpest picture and richest color I've ever seen on the original six NES MegaMan games. It is my favorite version of those six games in fact. The problem ith the Xbox version is with MegaMan 8, the walking animation is missing frames, and has major slowdown problems. I never liked Part 8 much anyway to be honest. 1-6, and the downloadable part 9 on XBLA are the best the original series has to offer.

If you want the best looking versions of 1-6, definately grab the Xbox version, I've never seen NES games look so good as those do on that collection.

If you want MegaMan 8 to look great, grab the PS2 version and play it on a backwards compatible PS3. That is the only way I've gotten that game to look great, but at the expense of the rest looking bland in color. 1-6 on the PS2 version have duller colors and the reds look pinkish in a lot of cases, which I never liked.

MegaMan 7 looks about the same on both versions, as it is a port of the SNES cart. 1-6 and 8 are ports of the PS1 versions of all those games.

Hope that helps on the MegaMan Collection matter.
