When I moved to this city from the southeast of Brazil six years ago (I've moved twice in the meantime, but stayed in the city), I kept all my stuff stored in my uncle's warehouse until I settled.
The worst part was another uncle of mine having found out about my stuff there and stole most of my manga collection, magazines, some games and other stuff. He probably sold them for next to nothing to buy alcohol and weed. I haven't spoken to him ever since, and probably won't.
moving sucks
Re: moving sucks
That is brilliant! My wife and I have moved too much in the last 5 years. And three times we have ended up back in the same apartment complex. This last time we now live right next door to our old apartment and it is hard to remember why it was worth moving out in the first place. Opportunities come along, however, and it's part of life I guess.racketboy wrote:My mom once told me moving is like childbirth, you never want to do it again until you forget how much of a pain it is.
I've been through a number of moves and I believe her.

Your uncle sounds like a jerk to me.

More of an alcoholic, if that makes any difference.
