What's your favorite Iron Maiden album?
Just curious to see how many fans there are on this site and what everybody's favorite album is. For me its Somewhere in Time. Just an amazing album. Plus I really like the album art, reminds me a little of Blade Runner, MegaRace, and all those dark 90's views of the future cities.
My 2 Iron Maiden tracks both come from that album too:
1: Caught Somewhere In Time
2. Wasted Years

I'd have to say Powerslave for me

Really difficult to chose just one, I love the classic era Maiden albums equally;
. Powerslave
. Piece of Mind
. Seventh Son of a Seventh Son
. Somewhere in Time
. Powerslave
. Piece of Mind
. Seventh Son of a Seventh Son
. Somewhere in Time

This. I don't like much of their newer stuff, but Brave New World was very good. Powerslave was the album that got me into the genre to begin with (specifically Aces High and Powerslave). Not that i'm into the genre totally, most metal sucks. Kids these days don't enjoy the classics like Maiden or Judas Priest (bonus points to Nightwish and Blind Guardian as well)Flak Beard wrote:Seventh Son of a Seventh Son

Piece of Mind
Brave New World
Killers was a great album, but it isn't the same Maiden, if you know what I mean.

I'm back!

Don't kill me but mine is Dance of Death. To be fair, it's the one that I've listened to the most and should give the others more of a chance, although I have also listened to Powerslave and Fear of the Dark a decent amount.
Re: What's your favorite Iron Maiden album?
Yes, yes they are. I ended up picking up the greatest hits after enjoying Run To The Hills in Rock Band and saw them mostly on the strength of that song. But I gotta tell you, I got really into the concert. That's the sign of a good band; you don't know all the songs but you can still get into it.pepharytheworm wrote:I am actually wearing an Iron Maiden shirt when I saw this topic (live after death). they are awesome live.
