hey guys. sorry with all the first grader questions. when burning a emu/rom to a disc, does the writing speed matter and if so what is a good speed? i have a sonic digital media + and it usually burns a 16x.

I personally would do 8X if you can.
What will you be playing it on?

Ok, 16X is probably fine, but 8X just to be safe.
Your brand of CD-Rs wouldn't be my choice, but if they work, good for you I guess. I usually stick with bigger name brands

I'd always go for 8x, and also I find that for some bizzare reason, Alcohol 120% will actually burn .cdi's better than DiscJuggler most of the time.
