The Fifth Element PS1

Post by newt42 »

I've been seeing and hearing mixed opinions about this game. Enjoyed the movie, but the game looks like it could have a small hint of somewhat potential.

Any rackateers wanna voice an opinion?...
Systems: SNES, PS1, GBA SP, Gamecube, DS Lite, Wii, PS3 (Fully Backwards Compatible), Dreamcast, Nintendo 64, Sega Genesis, a Sega CD, and a Sega Saturn.

I had no clue they made a 5th element game.
What a great movie though.
How cheap is this game to pick up.

I don't know about great, haha.

I rented it when it first came out because I had just seen the film.Granted it's been a while, but I seem to remember it having some decent parts. But overall, unless you love the film, I think you'll find it to be a pretty average game. However, I've seen it around at a couple retro game stores for like $5 or less.

Having actually played the game, for about a week (I had borrowed it from a friend) I remember it being quite decent. I mean I had borrowed games like crash bandicoot 3, tekken 3, metal slug, and still I would devote time to the Fifth Element, so I guess it was a good game. Not great but good

I think Metal Gear Solid is a great runner up against Ocarina of Time, actually.

It's ok. Only worth it if you're a fan of the film and can get it cheap.

It was better than a lot of licensed crap at the time (that's not saying much though)

Eh, IMHO the FE game was terrible. I tried the PC demo back in the day and also played the PS1 game for about 5 minutes at some point. I don't think I would even hold on to a free copy, even though I like the movie.
