R grey zappers rare?

this week after going to the same thrift stores and pawn shops
ive noticed an abundiance of orange zappers
and not one grey one
what gives?

Nintendo had to change them to orange to make them look less like real guns. Personally, I didn't think it was necessary.

Some try to say that they are, but they made grey Zappers from '85/'86-'89 and orange ones from around '89-'91 neither are rare as they were made in the dozens of millions, just that most people prefer the iconic grey one to the traffic cone orange follow up.

No. They are no more rare and if people charge more for them then fuck em.

The grey NES zappers aren't any rarer than orange zapper guns..

It's insane that prices rise just because people would prefer to have a grey one and not of how rare it actually was.
