Wasn't this posted three years ago?
NHL '94 in SWINGERS. Great game, great movie, great scene.

Every arcade nerd's dream in the 80s was that his videogame skill would lead him to be The Last Starfighter that could save the planet from alien invasion!

There was a panel on NPR not too long ago talking about how the ARMY is using video games to train soldiers. One of the panelists remarked, "It's like that movie form the 80's, the Planet Fighter...Or was it the Star Defender? Either way, it's like that movie."J T wrote:Every arcade nerd's dream in the 80s was that his videogame skill would lead him to be The Last Starfighter that could save the planet from alien invasion!
I was yelling at the radio like it could hear me "It's the LAST STARFIGHTER you assholes! The LAST STARFIGHTER!". If I had their number on my voice dial, I would have called.

Renee: What are you doing? You promised me breakfast.
Brodie: Breakfast, shmreakfast. Look at the score, for Christ's sake. It's only the second period and I'm up 12 to 2. Breakfasts come and go, Renee, but Hartford, "the Whale," they only beat Vancouver once, maybe twice in a lifetime.

I've met Kevin a few times, and have friends who write for him. Nice guy, but don't ask him how he regrew hair from his once large bald spot. He's actually really touchy about his personal appearance. Must be why he makes so many fat jokes about himself.DaGamingMonkey wrote:ha ha damn it.
