Which console do you think has the best controller?

I can only add up to 10 options in the poll. So I'm going to skip the obvious ones that shouldn't be on the list (for example, XBOX 1 model1 controller)

If it is not on the list, I apologize, but please tell me what your opinion is.

I choose SEGA Saturn's MODEL 2 controller.
2 reasons:

The d-pad is THE best. no question
The overrall feel is the best (the button layout and aesthetic feel when you hold it in your hands)

Besides the durability I enjoyed the N64 controller. Of the ones listed I would have to choose Dreamcast or Gamecube. I know my tastes are different from everyone else..maybe I have big hands.

The N64 controller gets a bad rap. I liked the ergonomic design that allowed you to switch handles depending on whether you needed analog or dpad controls. Also, for being the first major use of the analog stick, it deserves some respect.

Nevertheless, the Dual Shock improved on it and is probably the best controller out there (in terms of versatility) in my opinion, with the mouse/keyboard combo beating it out in 3 letter genres (FPS, RTS, RPG).

I voted for the Genesis pad as it's six button version (my favorite) gave Sega the basic shape and form factor for both Saturn pads.

No XBOX Controller S? I found it to be quite superior to both the original 'Duke' and 360 pads.

I had to edit the poll and added Nintendo 64 on the list. Apparently a lot of people like the n64 controller. It's not a bad controller, for me it took me months and months to finally hold it right.

It's really hard to say, there doesn't seem to be a perfect controller for both 2D and 3D games. For 3D the 360 controller feels perfect, and then the Saturn Model 2 controller is great for the 2D realm.

I often have dreams about a 360 controller modded with a Saturn d-pad. Oh how divine that would be.

I voted Saturn. As the controller sits, there are no flaws. The 360 controller might have been my vote, except for the d-pad. The same can be said of the Wavebird. If it had a true 2nd analog, it would easily be number one.
