1Xtreme (one of the first ps1 games released and used to be ESPN Xtreme Games until licensing issues)
2Xtreme (Greatest hits title but no unknown to the majority)
Einhander is a phenomenal shooter game (in my eyes) but wasn't popular among the common
International Superstar soccer pro 98 this is THE best soccer game on the PS1.
There are much much more games for me to explore. I just recently purchased Breaker Pro 1.1 so i will be deep sea PS1 game diving here in a couple days.

I don't know how well Alundra is known, but it gets my vote. Right behind Beyond Oasis as far as Zelda-like RPG/adventure games.
