Back when I was a kid with no responsibilities who played Nintendo all day, I could beat Ninja Gaiden without losing a life and be done in under 30 minutes. Part 3 was hard though.corn619 wrote:I just rebeat Ninja Gaiden on NES, I forgot how brutal that games was. Anyone who thinks that there good at games will find out they suck real fast with Ninja Gaiden. That game will eat you alive and make you realize what a pathetic puke you really are. Part 3 was worst for me, but only because they changed the way Ryu moved and slowed him down for some reason. Getting to the end and beating that game gives you a true sense of accomplishment.

I actually got the Foxhound ranking sometime ago. As cool as that is, I was only 3 minutes short of getting Big Boss, which really frustrated me at the time.Segatari2002 wrote:I finally managed to get through Met Gear Solid 4 without a single kill or alert phase which got me the bandanna and stealth camouflage. Now I'm switching back to Skies of Arcadia on DC because I really need to finish this game someday.
I beat Persona 3 about five times, but I still haven't even started Persona 4. I think that's mostly because the only copy of it I have is factory-sealed, and now I just don't play PS2 games anymore...J T wrote:I personally like 4 better, though I haven't finished either of them. They are soooo long!dlmvii wrote:Persona 3 FES (The Journey and The Answer), I don't know why I waiting so long to play, it was a great game. I'm pumped to play 4, but I think I'll wait a little bit,

The worst is when you are about to beat the final, final boss and die. Getting sent back to the beginning of the last level is torture. I can usually get to the last level without dying, but that last leg of the game is ridiculous if you're not sporting a jump slash.J T wrote: Back when I was a kid with no responsibilities who played Nintendo all day, I could beat Ninja Gaiden without losing a life and be done in under 30 minutes. I finished Half Life 2 for the first time a few weeks ago, and after that Half Life 2: Episode 1.

I was at the final dungeon of Legend of Zelda during a recent replay, but then the game erased while moving... I just sat there with a blank expression on my face looking at the screen. Next time I feel that twinge of nostalgia I am playing the game on the Game Cube collector's disk.

BioShock and HL2:EP2, though recently I have gotten to the last battle in Super Paper Mario, Mario Galaxy, Paper Mario: The Thousand Year door, The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap, and Sonic 3D Blast (Saturn).
For whatever reason, I don't tend to actually complete games, I just get to the last boss and quit. I think it has to do with marathon gaming sessions and the need to take a break. I just never go back, or when I do, I have forgotten what I was supposed to be doing.

The original Ape Escape. I'd been sitting on that one for a while.
