Topmax Dreamcast joystick

Post by marurun »

Anyone have one of these? I do. I'm trying to touch up (create from nothing) some Street Fighter 3 skills and I'm finding that home joysticks are a little springy. Any idea how I might tighten this one up a little?

i've got one, but the only thing i can say is BUST THAT MUTHA OPEN! personally i like it better than the agetec arcade stick. i like the springy feeling more than the clicky feeling

My problem with the springy-ness is that if I want to take a slightly hand-off approach (letting go of stick periodically) weird stuff happens. For example, I tap down to parry or something and my character afterwards hops up into the air because it sprung back.

I would go for one of those original Dreamcast sticks. Those grey and green ones. Sure, the price tag may be hefty but from what I've heard, they're one of the best type of sticks ever created.
