I got a complete, boxed U-Force for the NES this weekend while stopping into a retro shop in KC. It was $15. This thing is totally bunk as far as controllers go, but as an NES collector it was hard to pass up this package.

That reminds me of when I got a boxed copy of NHL '96 for 2 dollars, got home, opened it up, and the cartridge was NHL '94, but perhaps that's a good thingwclem wrote:I found a Tecmo Super Bowl with box and instructions for both Tecmo Bowl and Tecmo Super Bow LOL!! I got a factory sealed one for my birthday, and opened it just to play it.RadarScope1 wrote:I got a complete, boxed U-Force for the NES this weekend while stopping into a retro shop in KC. Call me silly, but if I can't use it, it goes in the circular file.

I prefer 94.
I got a free copy of Pokemon red recently. Save battery is bad. Just going to replace it, so only set me back a buck.

Yeah I was actually thinking about that when we decided to paint it. We must break the "curse" of ugly and fucked-up Dreamcasts!Reverend wrote:Please think carefully before you paint it. We have enough tragedies.FreshChurros wrote:My buddy and I picked up a Dreamcast for $7 in a thrift store yesterday. We found that it wouldn't take controllers, but all we had to do is replace a single resistor and voila! Now it plays like a dream. PUN.
Anyways, since we both have Dreamcasts already, we're gonna paint up and mod this one. So expect to see pics eventually, for better or for worse.
