I've been using Supercard for about 2 years? I also had doubts upon initial purchase, but after using I find it's not too bad. As said above, the emus are in-built, so it's convenient to just drag and drop the roms. Some may have graphical glitches (eg:Elevator Action), most are fine though. Slowdowns in some gba games (very evident in Mario Kart).
It also has a player program(filmplay.bin) where you can play native gbm(vid) and gbs(sound) after conversion on computer using its program. Of course the quality is ... but still there's that option if you need it. It is also able to read .txt files.
Overall, for the price paid, I find it value for money. M3 is supposed to be one of the best with no slowdowns but it comes with a dear price tag.
P.S. If you are buying from dealextreme, remember not to get the rumble ones, it doesn't run GBA.
