fox099 wrote:Howdy everyone! So I come across the deal of a century. A whole lot of classic RPGs for the SNES. I place a number of bids, and end up winning Chrono Trigger for 26.99. I just got a message from the ebay seller: "Thanks for you bid! Although, Chrono Trigger is worth more than $26.99. I won't be able to sell. Sorry, however I did relist it! Thank you :)". Everyone stay away from seller "xxbluesboixx"!
Do not email ebay, call them! This recently happened to me when I won a pair of Air Jordan's. The guy told me that he forgot that he had already sold the shoes, so I did not have to pay. A couple of days later, he re-listed the shoes! We went back and fort with this, so I finally decided to call ebay and I explained the situation. Ebay will go through your ebay messages and examine the situation.

Anyways, they banned his ass from ebay!

same thing just happened to me two weeks ago. I won a CIB copy of Tourist Trophy for $1.25 with $4.00 S&H, only to get an email saying that because the game is worth more, they decided not to sell and would relist the item. I called BS and let him know that the split second that auction ended, we entered into a legally binding contract. If he wanted more, he should have set a reserve price. Then he sends me an invoice not with $4.00 shipping. like his auction stated, but no with $7.00 S&H. I called BS AGAIN telling him he cannot change and inflate shipping costs to offset his loss. He tried to argue stating "why am i complaining on the shipping since i getting a $20 game for half that, and that was all that egay would let me charge." I don't give a kcuf what the game is worth, versus what i'm paying for it. He bitched all the way to the end, but i did get my game for $5.25, which was what the auction ended at and at his initial cost to ship. I should have opened a case against him to teach him a lesson.

Any updates on this bitch? I cannot understand why some one would post such an egotistical shot on an eBay profile. He's like

"Look at me I am so serious about shit, I take this eBay thing real seriously. Hey look at my myspace face. Last night I took advantage of some women".

What a dick. Hopefully in the end you will get him. Here is eBay's phone number if you don't already have it

866-515-EBAY (866-515-3229)

Also here is a link to one of his auctions

http://cgi.ebay.com/Super-Mario-Kart-WI ... 500wt_1182

If you are feeling particularly impish you can ask him the following question about Mario Kart

"I would like to buy this but then back out after I
have already agreed to purchase the item. Is that cool with you?".

If you pay for it, then he pretty much has to ship you the item. Worst case scenario, you file a PayPal dispute and get your money back, and you get to leave negative feedback (which feels REALLY good if it's a crappy seller). Also, if you report him, he will get a policy violation from eBay which lowers search standings in "Best Match" (even though I think "Best Match" sucks.)

Again I have to ask, how does this guy still have a 100% positive feedback ratio?
