Look in your local paper's classified ads. Lots of people are getting rid of their CRTs dirt cheap when they get a new HD tv. You could probably even find a 36" for a couple hundred bucks or less. Not sure if you want to deal with a 175 pound TV, but the option is out there.nikon_62 wrote:I didn't think of light guns thats a good point. The Sanyo TV in my picture is going bad. I went to a pawn shop today but they wanted $125 for a no name 26" set. If you find a good place for tube TV's let me know.shallowgamer wrote:Well if you plan on doing any light gun collecting (which I suggest you do), you'll need to run them on a tube. And frankly, I don't even like using my PS2/Xbox on an HDTV. Funny as it sounds, pretty soon I'll be in the market for a good Tube TV.RadarScope1 wrote:Yeah, it's not that they don't work, it's just that they look absolutely terrible. I wouldn't want to play any pre-32 bit games on a high def tv from what I've seen so far.

A+ of being organized
B- on the collection; great games, but the number of titles could use some beefing up

The solution: CRT HDTV.
Re: Nikon's game room
Nice 2600. I got one just like that, cept it wont turn on.
Careful with HD CRT's though. All the sets I've seen have had terrible overscan.
Boy I tell you what, are those some god dang video games?

Me too. It makes easier to display and helps reduce dust. I have a most of my consoles in a similar setup.DaGamingMonkey wrote:I like the retro setup you have.

I recommend the Sony Wega. I love these things! My parents have a huge 40+ inch model as well as a 36" model. I bought a 20" model and it is great!
