I'm with Krooner - that 1st photo reminds me of a certain treatment scene from A Clockwork Orange... Isn't Doom 3 18 cert - maybe for a reason?

In my experience, games like Mario Bros. and Sonic seem to be most interesting for kids.

My best friend has a 6 year old who loves to play LittleBigPlanet and Super Mario World, but when we start up Resistance 2, Halo, or Resident Evil, he goes and watches cartoons in the other room. My suggestion is, if you really want your kid hooked, to expose him to the games that got you hooked on video games as a kid.

This guy is the most successful troll I've ever seen. Doom 3 with an infant in a baby bjorn? No way anybody actually does this.

When my son was an infant I used to work out with him in a baby bjorn... well just walking on the treadmill and different variations of pull/chin ups. The extra 10 pounds makes a difference :)
Anyway with my son he likes watching the cartoony type games. He loves watching me play Mario AllStars and even enjoyed the battle scenes of Shining Force 2... but he loves to mash the buttons beside me when playing any of the TMNT arcade games.

Ooh, try showing him Silent Hill and Clock Tower! I'm sure he'll love them and have no permanent mental scarring whatsoever!
