Sega CD.

Post by KholdStare »

Does anyone know where I can find a Sega CD besides ebay? I seem to have no luck when looking for one.

I would make a "WTB: Sega CD" thread in this forum and any other gaming forums you might frequent, but keep an eye on eBay just in case a great deal comes your way.

make sure you stick with the model 2 i had model 1 and it was a piece of junk.

Overall the sega cd sucks hard, I have like 26 sega cd games all in the case.

Sonic CD is really fun thou and NHL 94 is my fav retro hockey game. It's fun to play with it but nothing real good. Night Trap is fun to mess around with thou.

It's actually an exceptionally good system if you enjoy RPGs, Platformers, Shmups, and Graphic Adventures. This list may help, especially if you're okay with burning games.

I love my Sega Cd... it is also a model 1 and i have had no problems so far. I've fixed one that was not hard to... but you are right in that it is a bigger pain in the but to fix if anything should happen than the model 2.

All i can say is, go to youtube and watch some game footage and top ten lists before you jump into it.

Have fun!

Alright, thanks guys and I know that this is a Sega form and this question may seem dumb to ask, but what would you recommend that I get right now, An Atari Jaguar or Sega CD? I want both but I have to choose right now, so which one?

Well, I'd personally go for the Sega CD unless you're getting a really great deal on the Jag CD. The problem with the Jag CD is that they're very expensive because they're getting rare. Also, you're Sega CD would probably get a lot more love and attention, as it has a better library of games overall.

In short, I think a Sega CD will bring you more joy at a lower price.
