Xbox has ruined gaming

Last generation there were 3 gaming scenes Hardcore Console gamers,Hardcore PC gamers, and the casual crowd. The xbox wasn't too bad last generation but the 360 has turned the Hardcore console gaming scene into a poor mans PC scene. It wouldn't be that bad if sony got their shit together but the current library of PS3 games isn't great enough for me to justify getting one yet, maybe next year. Who else feels the same way or the complete opposite? Discuss.

Surprisingly, I think yr onto something. I'd say current gen breaks down like this:

XBOX360 = so called "hardcore gamers" or dudes who like 3D FPS and GTA rippoffs.
Wii = casual gamers and retro enthusiasts (for re-releases and VC)
PS3 = destine to wind up in the cut-out bins for $50 come next Christmas due to overpriced console, and lack of quality games NOW when it fucking counts!

To each his own. I personally think the PS3 console exclusive library is currently better than that of X360, and the titles coming soon keep it that way in my eyes. In fact, there is only one 360 exclusive that I would buy if I had one, and that is Mass Effect. L4D might be a consideration, but I heard single player is lacking and I don't care much for multi.

I'm not bashing the ps3 its just not as good as the ps2 was.

The PS3 has only been out 2 years where the PS2 is on 9 and still going, so of course its not as good........yet.

I want a PS3 but settled on the 360 for its price tag. I think the PS3 is going to dominate in a couple of years.
