Erm... What's the best way about doing this?
Re: Erm... What's the best way about doing this?
What are you expecting to get for this? Is the game complete or loose? I just sold one of these for $24. For a Game Boy game that is pretty good.

All of this drama over a $25 game?

You gave it up, learn from it.Gooseberrysoda wrote:Years ago, I traded a rare game to my brother without knowing it was a rare game. Now that I know, I want it back. He doesn't know of its value, so I'm not sure how to ask for it back.
Right now, I'm thinking maybe asking him for this game and one other and saying I'm interested in them. Then purchasing them from him/trading him some Game Gear titles. Can anyone think of a better way to get the game back honestly?
Plus, trying to scheme it from your own flesh and blood is pretty low.
The only honest way to get it back is to tell him the truth, and try to find a compromise.

Still, all this drama for a +$50.00 game? Tell him about the game and let him keep it. It will pay you back 10 fold, believe me.Gooseberrysoda wrote:They're going on eBay for 50+, now.

No sh!t. Don't be a moron over $50.corn619 wrote:Still, all this drama for a +$50.00 game? Tell him about the game and let him keep it. It will pay you back 10 fold, believe me.Gooseberrysoda wrote:They're going on eBay for 50+, now.
How many brothers do you have? Be good to them. If a few years, you'll have a job where you'll earn $50 in an hour or two. During that window of life before you get married, but after you've gotten a decent job, $50 is nothing; just p!ss in the wind.

Thanks, guys. But it's done. I'll end up splitting the money with him, or something.

Good idea. A little brotherly love is a good thing, and worth a lot more than a few pounds/dollars/yen/won/euro/etc.Gooseberrysoda wrote:Thanks, guys. But it's done. I'll end up splitting the money with him, or something.
