Ryger was a good game. I wish Kratos would get the ability to manually swing his enemies around with the analog stick like Rygar can. The story and voice acting in the game was embarrassingly awful though.
No where near enough enemy variety either.

The damn game is a God of War clone with a chick (who should be shirtless) instead of a shirtless dude.

Thus, it's a better game.

Honestly, though, Nariko just felt to me like an entirely more likable character. I couldn't stand Kratos.

Kratos is pretty goddamn stupid but entertainingly so. He walked into what was clearly a trap to strip away his powers just so that he had something to be angry about attempt to kill another god as a mortal. Nariko is a pretty intense character too and I think the scene where she's yelling with the fish girl is the most amazing part of the game.
