Earth Defenders Force (SNES)
Has anyone else played this? My first impressions were good (Lotsa power ups, scrolling effects are cool, tons of stuff flying everywhere) but then I realized that the hit detection sucks, therefore making it unplayable.

I returned it today. Maybe it was good in arcades, but not on my SNES.BigTinz wrote:Earth Defense Force?

Re: Earth Defenders Force (SNES)
This was actually one of my favorite shmups for the SNES. I used to have it years ago. Pretty decent graphics, IMO. I could never beat it, though. The later stages were hard.
Earth Defense Force (SNES)
So I'm trying to figure out if my copy's messed up, or if it's normally this way, but I sat down with Earth Defense Force on my Super Nintendo this morning, and while the game felt solid, I noticed lots of flicker and slowdown. I also noticed that music seemed to cut out whenever I fought a boss. This doesn't seem to happen in YouTube videos though.
Also, before anybody asks, I'm terrible at the game. I can only make it to the boss of level 4 using homing weapons on normal. I suck at shmups.
