Hey Billy -- glad to have you aboard!
My wife enjoys the Dreamcast, but I doubt I'll get her to the point of saying anything like that ;)
I'm glad you enjoy the environment here and I hope to see you around more!

Hello

Post by manasol »

I am 20 years of age. Living in Miami.

Been reading the blog and forum for quite some time now (can't even remember since when). Anyway I just see that the forum has some great conversations and kind people. I really like the blog, like others I play older games because of it, thank you so much.
I like to be very conscious of many things so I started to lose interest in games because of the violence, sex, etc. I really like to play the selection of games I see mentioned here. I hope to contribute to this community.

hi!

Post by aaron »

hello!

i'm aaron, i'm 22, i live in west lafayette, indiana, a little nxnw of indianapolis. i manage a carwash by day. i'm the proud parent of a beautiful 14 month old boy. i play guitar and love all types of music, but i tend to listen to more technical-type stuff, be it metal/jazz/rock or whatever. i'm kind of a music snob.

with regard to gaming, i currently i own an xbox, a ds, and a sega saturn. my tastes are pretty old school, i like 2D platformers, racing games, pretty much all shooters (shmups, fps, run 'n gun, on-rails), and oddly enough, golf games of any variety. favorite games of all time include gunstar heroes, super mario world, sonic & knuckles, ikaruga, halo, and project gotham racing 2, to name a few.

i'm here because i remember racket from the segaxtreme forums and while i don't frequent that site much anymore, i really like this one and the way he's got it set up.

so, that's me i guess.

Hello my name is omm'A I'm almost 7 feet tall, I'm black and played basketball for the better part of my life. One thing about living in dorm and hotel rooms is you need a diversion besides text books, girls and drugs and mine's always been video games.

I really enjoy playing Shumps and Geometry Wars and Halo2 on Kai. My GW high score is 48.8 Million, which is almost half of the world record of 108 million. At one point I used to really be into Video games but now I mainly only play Madden or the occasional NBA2k.

I'm actually in the Coach K College Basketball for the Genesis. It's really odd too that they got the licence to use all of our actual jersey numbers. So you can play with the actual players at those schools. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think there's been a game like it before or since that used the actual jersey numbers of real college players. That game came out in 1994 and we played it every day, later that same season we were playing for the national championship in the final four in my home town of Seattle. It was bad ass. After college I played in leagues here and there, always selling my old systems and "upgrading" to the new thing. I must say that is not always such a smart thing. I've since backtracked and gotten another Dreamcast and am planning on getting a Saturn too. Anyway it's late and I'm rambling but here's a few pics of me:

Hi omm'A, is that right (spelling)? How is it prenounced? Nice to meet you. Hope you stay and use the forums. I am going to download the game but what teams are those in your picture? Sorry :(, I am not an avid fan of college though I like it more than pro at times.

Thanks
