Board Game Top Shop gets my vote. I bought it new for $5.99 about a year ago, and it's one of the few PS1 titles I refuse to get rid of. It's definitely not for everyone, but if you have any interest in party games or Monopoly it's a great 6 player game (no multi-tap needed).
It's all about the Chrip-Chrip Shoes. (Typo intentional)

For some reason, I really, REALLY love Tekken 3. I felt it was far better than its predecessors and its successors. I'm hoping Tekken 6 will be able to be as fun as Tekken 3, but I'm not holding my breath. To me, Tekken 3 has just the right amount of depth, replay value, extra modes and quirkiness - it was a prefect equilibrium.
Anyway, I do feel Tekken 3 should be featured. It's the best 3D fighter on the PS1 (as far as I can remember), and I think that's reason enough to feature it.

What? No love for Masters of Teras Kasi?the7k wrote:Anyway, I do feel Tekken 3 should be featured. It's the best 3D fighter on the PS1 (as far as I can remember), and I think that's reason enough to feature it.
Seriously though, as far as 3D fighters go, Tekken 3's easily the most well known and remembered. However, according to the VGPC folks, Bushido Blade and Bushido Blade 2 are worth less than $10. They better appear somewhere on the list!

Since I'm including shipping costs in my calculation, I could include Bushido Blade 2, but the first one is a bit more expensive.Ack wrote:What? That's cool, I prefer Bushido Blade 2 anyway. More characters, weapons, and places to fight.

Did not realize the Bushido Blade games were that cheap.
They aren't exactly traditional 3D fighters, but they're still must-haves.

+1 for Crash Bandicoot if it's indeed under $10. It's a solid game.
I hear what JT is saying but I disagree to a point. What if all you have is a PS1? What if you didn't own any Sony consoles until now and are starting with PS1 stuff? What about being able to tell RB readers that Tekken 3 is definitely a highlight of the PS1 library and is regarded as much better than T1 & T2? In some cases a first or second game in a series might be much better than a third or fourth, even if they're all under 10 bucks. It's all valuable info for someone unfamiliar with the PS1 library.

That's a good point, I haven't thought of it that way.RadarScope1 wrote:+1 for Crash Bandicoot if it's indeed under $10. It's a solid game.
