Post by fox099 »

Came across an ebay auction, a pal snes, terranigma and a star ocean repro cart. Had a 100 dollar offer until the last second and got sniped. So SAD!

dude, that sucks!
I've got a pretty good story that kindat relates to the topic. One time, I was in a store, and I saw a copy of Final Fantasy III for the SNES for ten bucks. I decided to take a quick look around before buying it, and somebody got it while my back was turned.

I once went to a store looking to buy one of my first SNES games (ZAMN), and when I got to the store, someone had just bought the last/only copy. Strangely a few weeks later, the same thing happened witht the same game, but I came out victorious. 8)

When I was in middle school, my Mom talked me out of buying a mint copy of The Incredible Hulk 181 (first Wolverine appearance) for $70.

I can still give her guilt trips about it.
