How do you find out what a particular store has in stock?

Follow the link and enter your zipcode.

I got to my local gamestop and picked up the last one. It was still marked $14.99 but rang up as $9.99

At least 3 out of my 4 local gamestops have the players. Not too much love for them around me. In fact, I got mine in a really weird way. My friend got one as a part of a birthday gift years and years ago. Every time I went there, I would see it practically behind his dresser, unopened. Eventually, I opened it for him, after nearly 4 years, and tried it out. Worked like a charm, and I traded some childrens card game related stuff for it. It was nice :D

Ok, so I just bought a Gameboy Player and everything seems to run fine aside from my Supercard MiniSD. It will boot and make it to the loader screen but it won't list the contents of the MiniSD card. The Supercard runs fine on my Gameboy Micro. :?

That's a bummer. It works fine with my M3 Perfect with SD card.

Thanks for the help guys. I guess I'll be looking into another flashcart since that's mostly why I got the player. Any chance there's a list somewhere of which flashcarts support the Gameboy Player?

I'm not aware of a list anywhere. The only thing I can suggest is to start a thread here, thepurplecube.org, and gbatemp.net asking if people have a GB player and a flash card, to state if their flash card works. Then you could compile the results.

Be sure and really check if your card is seated right inside the reader, too.
