Wow. Didn't work the first time I tried it, but it did it every other time. I guess she didn't get as much play-testing as the rest, considering she's console exclusive.

I guess this means there'll be another patch soon...

Maybe, maybe not... this is SNK we're talking about.

What I find more amusing is that Ignition held a tournament using the PS3 version like a month ago in LA and the problem never came up. So either no one was using Raiden and Elizabeth or it was an earlier build of the game that didn't contain the bug.

Fuck I wish I had a PS3. I want to dedicate hours to this game. Having to drive to UFO and plunking dollars into the machine anytime I want to play sucks. :(

Well, I know I've never fought against either Raiden or Elizabeth online. I actual have fought against Mature, and not either of them yet - and I've played a good bit of time online.

As a hard core 2d fighting fan I am hugely disappointed with how this game "flows" Seems the fights are all slow and chunky. Sounds awesome looks good. I don't know how the justify removal of characters and charge 60 bucks for it. Just all in all an average effort. I'll be going back to 98 ultimate match.

the online in this game is still mediocre at best. It makes the slow gameplay that much slower. Now there are infinite loops being found? Weak SNK

You should definitely get 98 UM for the PS2, regardless. It's definitely one of the best games in the series (I think THE best).

Netcode patch for XII is now available for PS3. Supposedly plays as smooth as Street Fighter IV netplay now.
