I also have a fast metabolism and can't stand to see good food unfinished. It's not healthy to overeat, regardless of your weight or metabolism. Just eat when you are hungry. If your trying to gain weight and want to eat more, you could try exercising in some way. After physical activity, you will be able to eat much more than before. Your body will need the protein, carbs, and nutrients that it burn up while working, combined with your usual eating habits. I can eat double the amount of food I normally eat if I was just rockclimbing. In fact, I once just kept on eating until I was too exhausted to continue. XD

Just don't hurt yourself.

Anapan wrote:Cook everything in butter and avoid vegetables whenever possible. Drink large amounts of soda during the day, and switch to at least a 6-pack of beer sometime before supper. Breakfast should consist of bacon, ham, sausages, eggs, and hash browns (again cooked only in butter and their own juices) - if pancakes are included they should be smothered in syrup, butter and anything else high-in-cholesterol available. Snacking between meals will also help. Mars Bars, Potato chips (or pork rinds), slush/slurpees, Ice-cream sandwiches, etc. Be creative. Lunch should be leftover deep-fried food from supper, a milkshake (if possible), a double or triple cheeseburger, or if it's a sandwich, it should be on a cheese bun and the meat and cheese inside should be thicker than the bread surrounding it. Fries, onion-rings, or anything else deep-fat-fried are always good too. For supper make sure you get lots of non-lean meat. Try to get it smothered in a cream , butter or cheese sauce (most gravies will also help). Whenever possible everything should be deep-fried - especially any vegetables or side-dishes. Any potato dishes or pastas will also help you to soak up any left-over sauces on your plate(s).

Hope this helps.

Jeez, don't follow any weird diets, no matter if you want to lose or gain weight!

Just eat foods that are full of protein and EXERCISE- no, you don't need to go on cross country runs but some kind of strength training (probably an every/mostday routine with low weight/high reps considering your body type). Ingest lots of liquids but don't go crazy on soda and sweeteners to "gain weight." You'll gain heart problems, poor blood circulation, blemishes, digestive disorders, etc, especially if you want to do it fast. A major diet change will affect you in many ways and most of them are discouraging.

Try eating several (try 5-6) small-medium meals throughout the day instead of the usual three big meals and snacks/nothing in between. And think about it, If you're skinny and you only eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner you're pretty much starving yourself in between meals. So eating smaller solid meals (not just snacks) will get you used to having a decent amount of food in your body all the time.

And, as always, watch what you eat.

Never forget!

As far as liquids go, drink lots of water and lots of whole milk.

Lastly, lift weights. Best resource if you've never done that before is Starting Strength by Mark Rippetoe. Having muscle on your frame means you need to eat lots of good stuff to keep it there!

Eat at Chili's.

Seriously, they routinely make the lists of top 10 worst foods in America for your health.

Here's a handy list of fattening foods. Start at 20 and work your way up to #1 (assuming you don't die of a heart attack before you get there).

Haha, yeah. Chili's had some of the saltiest food I've ever eaten. I can't believe people actually line up for the place.

You are supposed to eat food, and leave tips for the waiters. You should not be eating the tips.

(Just kidding, of course).

Thats right, use the food guide pyramid. Lets use something that is based off of rationing food so you can stay alive and that was merged with the dietary program for hogs in WWII. When that pyramid was released in the early 90s it did stall childhood diabetes, but it is far from what it should be. The Mypyramid is what they are using now and it seems to be better. Atleast the Mypyramid has a stance on exercise.
