It's been awhile since i played DK64 ,but last time i played i had allot of fun. I admit the game is hard and sometimes the controls are frusterating, but the gameplay more than makes up for the IMO. I do agree that it doesn't look as good as some of the other games from the time, but the graphics are awful. I don't really understand the need for the expansion pack, but hey it came with the game....

Getting across town in GTA can be fun, you can go on a killing spree, while driving long distances, blow stuff up, go over crazy jumps, steal different vehicles, listen to music on the radio, listen to comedy sketches on the radio...etc etc.
What do you do when traveling long distances in DK64? Control a clumsy monkey...
Sure the warp pads sped things up, once you found them. To me they are more of a bandage after they realized that it was a hassle to get around. This is a "platforming" game...why is it a hassle to get around. They game should be designed in a way that makes you love controlling the character and getting around.

Awww c'mon, don't say that. Express yourself, don't repress yourself. (Tee Hee. Gotta love madonna)
