Craigslist questions
Re: Craigslist questions
Sometimes people look in the "toy and games" section rather than the "video games" section so you might want to put it in both. Have you ever heard of kijiji? You may have it for your area, the one for Toronto is much better than craigslist imo. More colourful, many more ads and a lot more traffic. You can even manage your ads, I'd suggest you put an ad there as well.

Re: Craigslist questions
Yeah, I would agree this is best advice when dealing with anything on craigslist...Rebz wrote:Also be careful when you meet them, try to meet in a public place and bring somebody along.

Re: Craigslist questions
Thanks guys, as usual you were all a great help. It is so cool being able to post here and get help on things and get it so fast. Hopefully I can return the favor sometime.

Re: Craigslist questions
That worked. Thanks for the tip. Don't know why I never tried it before.Inazuma wrote:Or simply add "-360" without the quotes to filter out everything Xbox 360 related. This works on many search engines.gtmtnbiker wrote: It's hard to sift through xbox listings on Craigslist because you will also pick up 360 listings. Make sure you specify "original xbox" to make it easier for searchers.

Re: Craigslist questions
I haven't heard of it til now. I just checked the one for the Boston area. It's got a long way to go to match the popularity of Craigslist. Only 7 ads for video games. I give them credit for the nice look-and-feel of the site.Rebz wrote:Have you ever heard of kijiji? You may have it for your area, the one for Toronto is much better than craigslist imo. Re: Craigslist questions
Craigslist is good because you have complete control. if you change your mind on selling its not a problem. You can get what you want or not sell it. You can also try to sell the product in other venues while its listed there.

Re: Craigslist questions
Oh that's interesting; quite different in Toronto. Here there's way more post on Kijiji than Craigslist. There's so many and it's constantly being updated, sometimes I have to wait 24 hours before my ad gets posted because of a lineup I assume lol. While OTOH sometimes it takes 10 minutes for a single new ad on Craigslist. (Yes I know because I usually spend my whole day sitting here trying to catch deals hahaha - can't blame me though; no summer job because of city worker strike.)gtmtnbiker wrote:I haven't heard of it til now. Re: Craigslist questions
Kijiji is an eBay company. On the US eBay pages, it's even in the list of links at the bottom of the page.Rebz wrote: Have you ever heard of kijiji?
