My Cramped Gaming Room

Post by HappehLemons »

I started my collection about 6 months ago, before that I only had a 360 and Wii. Although I only own consoles I used to own as a kid, but I'm sure that'll change soon. When I was younger I had a tendency to sell my old gaming consoles as soon as I got a new one. I went thru a lot of them fairly quickly but I think I've done a good job of resorting them.

I use the smaller computer to play my retro point and click games. I can't stand how they look on a huge screen.

The game in the box is tengen tetris, nothing special in case anyone was wondering :p

Seems more cramped than my Japanese apartment. It must get hot in there with all those electronics and any other person you invite over.

If I were you, I'd get a foldable futon bed/sofa. It may free up some much needed space. :D

Nice set of systems!

Yeh, it gets extremely hot. I normally have a lot of people over at once too so my room quickly becomes stuffed. But most of the time I try and keep only one device on at once because of safety (my room has very old wiring) and the electrical bill. I was thinking of getting a futon though.

Cramped spaces are the best. I don't know why, I think they're just more "cosy" (wow, that sounded gay) but (I hope) you know what I mean.

That's a lot of old consoles to buy in the space of 6 months? Don't you feel like it's an overload? I like to try and keep on top of things, so I wouldn't be able to cope!

Finally, you seem to have 3 copies of Brawl and 2 of Halo 3. What's up with that?

I only have one copy of each, the others are just black cases. My first copy of Halo 3 was stolen when my brother had a party and I don't know how I ended up with 2 extra brawl cases to be honest  I was just cleaning my room the other day and found them. On of my friends/brothers friends must of left them. I don't know how someone remembers to take their games though but forget to take the case...

Woah! You have Earthbound. Kudos also for having Contra III.

You also get cool points for having Streets of Rage II and Rocket Knight Adventures.

I must ask, though, why the heck do you have three copies of Super Smash Bros. Brawl? o.0

Read the above post :)

Yeh, although I never had earthbound when I was a kid I felt really compelled to own it as soon as I got my super nintendo. I spent a lot of money on it but I don't regret it at all.

I second the futon. Nice stuff though. I have a cramped computer room with two computers one of which seems to heat the room along with the two bodies typically in it. Could always get a fan or a small ac unit as well. I don't see how more than one or two people could function in that room? :P
