I found (& bought) Contra w/box & manual for $3. Good deal?

I found it at Salvation Army where I live. I picked it up because I knew that Contra is a good game, but I'm wondering if I got a good deal to get it complete for $3, or did I merely pay an average price?

You can always answer your own question by looking at the completed listings on Ebay.

$3 would be a deal for just the cartridge.
