The new TRON looks really cool! The only problem is the premise: if you were to get sucked into a modern day video game it wouldn't have creative ideas like that. You would either be in World War II, fighting off a zombie horde, or jumping around with a tiny 5 button guitar.

ha. i was going to post and say the same thing a day or two ago but just didn't. The trailer looks grea and i really hope they make a good tron HD game. If any franchise needs it, it is tron.

I am kind of getting a little sick of this mentality in general. It was the same thing when i posted about the 3-d original zelda that a guy made for the pc. It was never meant to replace the first zelda, it was just something to try out if you want to. But when i posted about it on the forum, people were jumping on the thread damning it to hell.

This tron isn't going to come in your home and smash your orignal VHS copy. The first person zelda isn't destroying your carts. Chill guys. Enjoy the ride. All this was supposed to be fun, remember?

I thought the original Tron was pretty dumb. The only thing I really got out of it was laughing at it while inviting some rowdy teenage friends over to watch. This looks like they're basically just taking a 1970's audience idea about what people inside a computer would look like and giving it 2009 level special effects.

As a sequel, I think it looks interesting, could be cool in 3D on a digital movie screen.
